Has anyone developed an App?

I downloaded the iOS/OS X development software this evening to have a wee play. I have an idea but I'm not sure how easy it'll be to implement.

I had considered attempting to make a game and/or a more complex random number generator but at least for apps on the App Store I could not find a way to avoid spending 100 odd quid drama.gif
There is a solution of jail breaking but I'm not familiar with that concept yet.

If i remember correctly don't you run Windows?

iOS development software only runs on OS X, so obtaining a copy of Xcode would be a more substantial hurdle I'd imagine.

Correct. But I could have used a virtual machine.
