Exciting! I'm pretty confident in the ones I answered so it just depends how good everyone else did...

I'll take a guess at #15 being the full house?

There are a couple I think could be the full house.

Still reeling about #9, how could you Izzy.

1. The Firm - Star Trekkin

So I’ve kicked things off with a novelty record from the depths of the mid-80s. It came instantly as a track to include because it’s silly, objectively terrible and the clip I used is an excellent starting riff. Also, I’m a Trekkie, so there’s that. It was #1 in 1987, coincidentally the same year that Star Trek: The Next Generation started. And it wasn’t the only (original) Star Trek related #1 that year either, T’Pau got China In My Hand to #1 later on that year, and they take their name from a Vulcan priestess from the original series. The song itself is very basic bones for the TV show but letting 5 of the main cast say some ‘tag lines’ in a cumulative bout of craziness works quite well for me.

Lots of people guessing themes of some description here, I suppose it does sound rather Mario Kart-esque. Some people are also starting themes of their own, watch for those.

Correct: Danvicii, Lindsey, Joe., Liam, Johnkm, Froot, n4yr, Ethan, Gage, Heezus Froot

Ultraviolence – My Little Pony
HarryFlynn – Back To The Future Theme
Riser – Abba?
Dobbo – Looney Tunes Theme
HausOfKubrick – Lindsey Stirling – Shatter Me
Klumzee – Mario Kart?
Noahspike – Idina Menzel – Let It Go

No answer: Jade, Mack, MOBILE ADAM, AdamAloud, Sean., Josh., Dircadirca, Chez Wombat, Jahq, Jonjo, Rush, brokenrecords, ˇbrë!, dhwe, Robot

2. 3 Doors Down – Kryptonite

Constantly up in my favourite songs ever probably because I came across it a lot in my formative phase of music while browsing the Internet, Kryptonite is a stunning rock song that the UK were very unlucky not to get, it was a big hit in America but not here and as such I imagined this’d be easy for non-UK posters, not so easy for those of us here. It’s fantastic though, go listen to it if you don’t know it and enjoy alt rock in any way.

This has melody, John mad.gif

Correct: Danvicii, Lindsey, Joe., Liam, HarryFlynn, Dircadirca, Riser, n4yr, Ethan, Rush, dhwe, Heezus Froot

Ultraviolence – My Little Pony Rock Theme
Johnkm – Guitars And Grunts – Melody Is The Enemy
Chez Wombat – Paramore?
Dobbo – Nirvana – Lithium
HausOfKubrick – Lindsey Stirling – Shatter Me
Noahspike – Demi Lovato – Let It Go

Always weird to see some of these super overplayed (here) rock hits that never made it to the UK, but will take an Antipodean advantage when I can get it *.*

3. Hozier - Take Me To Church

The only song in here I used Audacity’s sound remover tool for, as there’s no non-vocal parts throughout the song. I didn’t use it for more because I didn’t trust people to be able to recognise the songs, however because Take Me To Church, our fantastic weekly lyrically hard-hitting anti-organized-religion party bop (depending on interpretation) has been such a big hit it was so recognisable that it wasn’t too hard to get anyway.

In fact, only TWO people didn’t get it. To be fair had I not been doing this it would have taken me a couple of listens at least to recognise it because of dodgy Audacity sound remover thing but what are you doing Haus and Bre?

Correct: Danvicii, Jade, Mack, Lindsey, MOBILE ADAM, AdamAloud, Joe., Ultraviolence, Liam, Johnkm, Sean., HarryFlynn, Josh., Dircadirca, Froot., Chez Wombat, Jahq, Riser, Jonjo, n4yr, Ethan, Dobbo, Rush, brokenrecords, Gage, Klumzee, Noahspike, dhwe, Heezus Froot, Robot

HausOfKubrick – Lindsey Stirling – Shatter Me

The instrumental is not the memorable part of 'Take Me To Church' in my defence... laugh.gif

I just relistened to the clip to see how obvious it was and I still don't think I'd have got that without being aware already that it was that.
