Everyone's favourite not-actually-that-accurate measure of how obese you are ~

Don't share if you don't want to of course but just interested in what the demographics of BuzzJack are like in this regard ;o

I just checked mine and I am pleasantly surprised at how close I am to not being obese these days. 5ft 10in/177.8cm (ish) and 97.3kg/15st 5lb (ish) for a final obese figure of 30.8. I thought it was a lot higher than that honestly.

EDIT: I'm informed by Joe. that this is a better measure:

http://www.nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/Healthyweightcalculator.aspx

That's telling me my BMI is 30.7. Even better!!

And on the complete other end of the spectrum, I come in at 17.4 BMI, putting me as 'underweight' and needing to gain about half a stone to become on the edge of healthy. I do find it difficult to put on weight, god knows I eat a lot of crap, and my noticeable skinniness does bother me really.

Just checked, I'm 19.8 which is on the lower side of 'Healthy'. To be underweight on the scale I'd need to lose about a stone.

I might be quite skinny in terms of BMI but because I was so chubby when I was younger I look like I weigh about two stones more.

19.5 at 5 foot 9 and 132 lbs (9 st 6), which is apparently normal weight (albeit quite low down that scale). May just be fast metabolism though, I don't lead the healthiest lifestyle!

I don't know what my BMI number would be (I haven't a clue what my height or weight is lol) but I know I did it with mum not too long ago and I was a healthy weight so yay.

I'm 5 ft 5 and weigh 9 stone 2 lbs which puts me at a BMI of 21.3 apparently which means I'm healthy, despite living a very unhealthy lifestyle. I imagine I won't be able to get away with this for much longer!

A nice round 19 off of being 5'11'' and 62 kg. Still skinny but I think that's the first time I've done it where I've been in the healthy section rather than the underweight section I think - now to start making sure it stays that way I guess, I'm not nearly as healthy as I'd like.

My target weight comes in at 25.5 which would actually be a healthy weight for my frame.

I'm not a massive fan of the BMI, it's not a brilliant measurement.

That NHS calculator puts me at 16.2, I think I'm around 5ft 8 and just over seven and a half stone (haven't checked my weight since my last time on the Wii Fit an age ago, but I don't feel like it's changed much).

My BMI is currently 24.4 (I'm 6 foot 2, and weigh 86.5kg which is about 13 stone 8lbs) so that puts me in the top range of 'healthy weight'. Ideally I want to lose some more weight, but I'm just glad that I'm no longer in the overweight or obese sections.

My highest ever BMI was 34.5 in the summer of 2010! I hated how I felt then.
