Inspired by Mattias' 20 things topic...

Anyone here not have a middle name? If you do, what is it and do you like it?

My middle name is Bruce. Which I utterly LOATHE. Part of the reason I have it is because Robert the Bruce (former King of Scotland). I was born at the end of my parents posting in Germany and they knew by the end of June that they would be heading to Scotland next. So they gave me a Scottish middle name.

I really like my initials, pbk, though and use it a lot for email addresses and social media. I need to find a new middle name that begins with B. Quite like the sound of Brandon but idk.

I don't have one.

It's extremely common for an Estonian person to not have a middle name. I used to lie and say it was Christopher here in Ireland cos I was embarrassed about every single thing about myself laugh.gif

my middle name is my mum's maiden name, which is Crighton, my initials are LCC, I don't mind my middle name but I tend to avoid using it if I can, I'd much prefer to have a first name as my middle name rather than a surname though. Cameron got our gran on our dad's side's maiden name, which is Grant so his works as both laugh.gif

Bryan. Absolutely loathe it. They could've chosen anything with a B, like Phil said Brandon would've been sufficient

I don't like my last name sad.gif Oll. It is so ugly. It also has two 'soft' L's at the end as opposed to the ones you'd commonly hear in English, therefore I have no idea how to write it phonetically, plus people say "Oil" which makes me shiver lmao

Someone trade please. Something longer and prettier.

A boabby is an entirely different thing though (or at least in some areas of Scotland it is) kink.gif laugh.gif

Think that's fairly universal across the country.
