20 years old and experiencing what I believe is my first ever hangover - I blame the tequila myself as never really gone with it before.

What solutions/cures per say do we all have for getting rid of hangovers? And more so, what drinks cause you the worst hangovers?

Discuss!

Sleep. I find sleep the best cure for a hangover, as when you sleep after a night of drinking it's not proper quality sleep, and so it's always good to go back to asleep for an hour or two. Also lots of water.

Also, wine hangovers are the worst.

Apparently Sprite is the best cure for a hangover, although I haven't tried the method because for some reason my body never decides to have a proper hangover, no matter what I drink, yay. I do feel a little off the next day sometimes, but nothing that needs curing. Not even after wine.

I'm horrendous for hangovers, I can't escape not having them.

The best cure is berocca before you go to bed and straight when you get up and have breakfast. I do none of this of course, I get in such a state that I pass out when I get in (after browsing the internet for an hour) that I fall asleep. The next day is all about not getting out of bed and feeling sorry for yourself.

I couldn't think of anything worse than a milkshake when hungover!
I agree with Joe about sleep. I get such bad hangovers these days, I can always tell when I need to throw up too (which is way too often for my liking sad.gif ). Ice cold water is usually the only thing I can handle for a good few hours!

Really? Milkshakes are heaven to me when hungover. I wake up, crawl to my local McDonalds and order a milkshake.

Unless I threw up the night before, that's when there is no cure for me

I can never avoid a hangover, the only time I think I have, it turns out that I'm still drunk. sad.gif

Ha, even the thought of anything milk based would make me throw up I think!
I've got friends who swear by a pint of milk being the best hangover cure though so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Drink loads of milk before going to bed - alcohol is a diuretic (i.e. after pint 3 and you can't stop peeing) so it is best to rehydrate your body before hitting the sack.

Gosh. Had my first hangover at 13. Remember it so well.

I've just finished a 4 day Birthday bender and am off the booze for a week.
