After last week's adaptation of An Inspector Calls, this week's classic drama was The Go-Between. Having seen the (Harold Pinter-scripted) 1970s film a couple times, I was unsure whether I'd enjoy a new version. Thankfully, it was every bit as good as An Inspector Calls. The lad playing young Leo was outstanding. It's good to see him getting lots of plaudits on Twitter.

The choice of Vanessa Redgrave to play old Marian was interesting. Her father, Michael Redgrave, played the adult Leo in the original film.
