Out on October 16, but it has previews this weekend and next weekend where some of you might watch it at the cinema. Just watched HT1 today and it was a very fun movie, loved seeing all the familiar guests and just the ideas of how a monster hotel would really be run. Excited to see how the child makes an entrance and what he's like in this sequel, looks promising!

So excited for this, my family and I adored the 1st movie and this looks great :heart:

I adored the first one! I'm gonna see if my babies wanna see it on the 17th.

This was cute and made me laugh out loud a few times, don't think my enjoyment was hindered at all by not seeing the first one (much like when I saw Despicable Me 2 without seeing the first movie and how I watched Toy Story 3 before the first two :P).

 

Kinda intrigued about seeing the original but the kid made it so cute that I don't know what it would be like without him there, but the monsters were fun too.

I didn't foresee this topping the first one at all but somehow, this manages to have even more charm and appeal. I ADORE the world they've built in this franchise and the whole concept from vampire toothbrushes to bigfoot being an excellent goalkeeper :lol: All the visual jokes are just so spot on and do seem fresh like I've not seen them before like you get in some kids movies. What a crowd pleaser as well at the end with all the monsters just kicking ass, yay. Overtaken the Minions movie to be my second favourite animation film of the year. :D
