In 79 contests such a mistake happened like 4 times in total iirc (2 recently and twice before with people not being able to round up post-deduction scores properly). It's just a massive coincidence this happened and, frankly, if you add up the scores on your iPhone you're pretty much asking for a mistake to happen. Just sayin'. As for 78, well, at least the mistake got spotted quickly.
We don't need one person to check the votes, all that's necessary to prevent this is people who actually vote checking the DNQ scoreboard (which should be ready and posted immediately after the semi results! hosts that delay this are very annoying usually) and correctness of their own votes on it. THAT'S what's needed. |

The semi scoreboards were posted straight away for both semis actually.

Everyone checking the scores they gave isn't foolproof obviously but we have to trust the hosts to double check the results.
Ironically, there used to only be one host per contest all the time (with very few exceptions) and everything went much better but now people can't get it right with as many as THREE hosts. Ha. |

And yet again I'm lower on the 12 point scoreboard, which is not good for YTD purposes I thought this might be one where I broke that as I did get quite a few high scores but clearly it's completely the opposite.

Oh well, I'm sure that the 18 point system is good, even though I've never done any better on it.

The first time I've actually improved on the 12 point system! Albeit by just the one place.
