Oooh exciting!! yahoo.gif

I do think this might distract away from Brave Man and promoting the album which is a shame.

He badly needs to re-release the album with some extra songs on it maybe a few christmas covers like in the next 2 weeks to take advantage of the XMas sales like every other big artist is. rolleyes.gif

I do hope Julie (will4me's) thoughts are correct.

Now could this be the reason the album appeared as a re-release on Amazon-are they releasing a version of the album for Christmas with this track added?

@will_young31 @wwf_uk Would love it to be the Xmas number one :-)
Will it just be available as a download?

@Jaystuff99 at the moment there's only a download option po.st/WillYoungWWFsi… but watch this space later this week.

I guess it could also be made available as a physical single.

Just read your tweet.

Strange the album is due for release on the 20th but the single 27th.

BPI tweet

Deluxe/special edition albums lovers have treats coming from @Meghan_Trainor, @will_young31 & @takethat this Friday! #NewMusicFriday

Also sticker on the album on Amazon and it now says this.

Product Description
The newly repackaged Deluxe Edition album, due for release 20 November, includes a brand new recording of a classic Burt Bacharach song “What the World Needs Now Is Love”, which featured on the global advert for WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) this holiday season. It marks a real difference in approach.

Will Young is one of the UK’s most prominent and enduring pop stars since the turn of the century. His last album, 85% Proof, topped the charts on its release week – making it his 4th Number 1 album to date.

Shame he only added one new track.

Thanks for the re-release confirmation. More tracks would have been great but as long as copies are sent to the supermarket I'll be happy. Guess it's designed to attract new buyers. Hopefully there's plenty of tour attendees that haven't purchased it yet and the WWF single broadens it's appeal.

WWF launches Christmas campaign with Universal Music and Will Young

Added 2 hours ago by Anna Reynolds

Conservation charity WWF UK is launching its Christmas campaign tomorrow, #WorldNeedsLove, including a TV ad fronted by singer Will Young.

The TV ad has been produced by Globe, Universal Music UK’s creative and commercial partnerships division, and features Will Young singing a unique version of the Burt Bacharach classic What the World Needs Now.

The ad will be aired for the first time during the break in Alan Carr’s Chatty Man show on Channel 4 tomorrow (Friday), and a teaser has been released that can be viewed below.

There will also be a competition running across WWF's social media channels. PR for the campaign has been managed by WWF's in-house team with support from Purple PR, which looks after Will Young.

The aim of #WorldNeedsLove is to inspire the nation to show the planet some love this Christmas and raise funds to support WWF’s work to protect the natural world.

Katrina Elliott, WWF-UK head of fundraising, said: "By using music we hope to reach new audiences and engage them in conservation issues and the work of WWF. The expertise, support and passion of everyone at Globe has been central to the success of this campaign, and we look forward to seeing the results and working on more projects together."

Nina Mistry-Stevens, senior account director at Globe, added: "Working with a conservation organisation has been a new experience for us at Glob. We really hope the music and images will make people think and most importantly get behind WWF’s #WorldNeedsLove campaign."
