The weather is cold. Are you happy about this or not so happy? Does your work place / place of living have amicable heating or not so amicable heating? How will we survive?

Discuss~ (and predict how long it will take Pavel to swan in and say that us weak and horrible people know nothing about the cold because we're not Russian moira.gif)

I don't get as cold these days as I used to. Obviously I did notice the sudden temperature change that happened here a couple of days ago and had to dig out warmer clothes, but it so often happens that people around me say how cold it is and I feel just fine lol

It was actually warmer after it got dark back home yesterday. Weird ~

But yeah, it's kinda chilly. I quite like it tbh.

I love it. I much prefer the Autumn/Winter months. I hate Summer and the heat, humidity and uncomfortableness.
Winter means you can get a new jacket, jumpers, gloves, hat, scarf.. wub.gif And you can always layer up if you're cold.

I LOVE winter and was pleased that it was -1c this morning when I finished work at 5:30am heart.gif But I'd still like it to be colder, and would like more snow! laugh.gif It wasn't so bad over night at work though, maybe because I was wearing four layers of clothing laugh.gif

I do quite like it in general but it's a bitch to work in and our school was built in the stone age or something so the heating system is LACLUSTRE meaning my classroom was like a freezer :'(

Literally me trying to keep warm today:

currently have no heating in my house so i'm just walking around in blankets

spring this year i did a huge clothing throw out, and got rid of most of my winter clothes. I am now realising I barely have anything warm and now I regret throwing away so many cosy jumpers sad.gif

Saying that, I do prefer the winter season wub.gif

It is pleasingly cold now. My place of work is my car these days so that has ample heating (though given I get ridiculously travel sick, even when driving, I have to ration myself). At home it's so warm half the time I need a window open, but that's because all the female members of my family have wildly incorrect internal thermometers.

My old school had such bad heating in the science labs we had to use bunsen burners for heat for like 4 months every year. It was fun, especially when our dottery old Chemistry teacher burned his favourite tweed blazer.

It is definitely very annoying and hard to concentrate when there is no central heating on at work during the winter months.

Or when at school, having to do dance on a very cold floor.

It's pretty grim getting up to 1C mornings for an 8am start, but otherwise I love weather like this. Nothing better than a crisp, cold day with clear skies when you see your breath wub.gif Even better with snow! (providing you have heating to go back to when you get in ofc. tongue.gif)

I do hope we get a proper winter this year with more days like this. Rainy mild winters are the worst ever.

Every winter at primary school, I can remember having to do dance on that. Would have thought they would have done indoor football.

It is quite annoying as many of the rooms I go to in school don't have the heating on; including the study where I spend a fair bit of my time in. Hopefully it gets sorted out during the week.

Also my physics teacher had to put a bunsen burner on as heat and we were still wearing our coats.

It really feels like winter/Christmas is coming now anyway.

☺️

it's ridiculous how cold it is right now I'm on the bus in 4 layers and a bobble hat and still shivering as I type this. I already miss the long days sitting in beer gardens wearing a shirt til the sun sets at 10pm. gonna take me a while to appreciate this extra festive weather ❄️

My workplace has underfloor heating which always seems to be on so it's like a sauna. As for being at home, if I have the heating on, my room gets too hot and if I don't then I freeze (yay). Hating the cold on my early 6:30am walks to work though drama.gif
