In the wake of the deaths of several huge stars in the last few weeks, which celebrity deaths would floor you? I know for some Bowie and Alan Rickman may well have been among those, but who else?

(morbid subject I know, but we're all going to die some time)

I don't think I'd cope or get over it for a very long time if it happened to Kylie.

For me the big ones are Christine Baranski and Patrick Stewart. The latter of which probably won't be THAT far off. I can't even begin to think of a world where there would never be anything new from either of them, they've left such a huge and rich body of work (Patrick more so, of course) for the future of course, but virtually anything they are in I make the effort to watch. Of course Sir Patrick is a close personal friend after our TWO encounters too, which makes it all the more potentially upsetting.

Someone like Madonna, Kate Bush, Stevie Nicks would really upset me. And there's loads of actors an actresses of similar icon status that would have similar effects on me, it's just kind of sad because, like Bowie, I feel like they've given me and thousands of people so much in their lifetime.

But I think it would be REALLY hard hitting if a favourite of mine who was roughly the same age as me passed, say for example a member of a girlgroup I loved - Like when Simone Battle commit suicide, it really shook me - I wasn't a HUGE fan of her specifically (though I loved the group) , but I think it really shakes you up when it's some really, really young. I'm not saying lots of 60+ celebrities who died weren't still taken before their time.

Basically, Nadine Coyle can never die.

If we're looking at the more elderly people, it would probably be someone like Tom Baker.

I think deaths like Paul McCartney, Madonna, Elton would shock me in the same way as Bowie but probably nothing will match my shock of MJ's death.

I don't know what would impact me, as death is very sad but 'life goes on' for me. And my faves are mostly young so I'm not expecting them to die soon (though like Joe, that means if they did it would be a greater impact). Let's just say I was happy for Gaga to turn 28

(Looking back, I think Corey Monteith was the biggest shock / one that had the most impact for me, so something along those lines)

Hopefully most of my biggest faves are too young to die for a while yet.

Tori Amos - and not because of the direct impact but because everyone in my life would assume I'd be devastated and then I'd take on their expectations. I think that is what happened with Bowie.

Stephen Fry's passing would probably hit me hard - as would David Mitchell's.

Oh definitely Patrick Stewart for all the amazing work and skill he has as an actor but also Ian McKellen. For similar reasons of playing iconic roles and vast skill but also because they've become so inseparable in my mind and in their own friendship that I know the feeling of seeing one of them posting a tribute for the other would be heart-wrenching. I don't want to imagine a world without either.

Of course if anyone young that I like died that would stop me in my tracks as you can't escape the feeling they had so much more to give the world. I'm only not considering it because hopefully it won't happen until they've all lived a good life.

I saw Billy Connolly trending on twitter last night and immediately thought the worst. He is my all time favourite comedian and such a nice guy when i met him, so that would really impact me.

Rod Stewart would impact me a lot as well. My mum is a huge fan, so I grew up listening to his music and I take her to see his shows. I got her front row tickets for her 50th birthday and a signed football which was purposely signed for her and not one of the ones he kicks into the crowd. She would be devastated if he was to die.

As far as older celebrities go, I think if Betty White died that would be really upsetting.

David Attenborough would definitely affect me the most (and I'm thankful every year that passes that it hasn't happened yet!), he's my main idol and inspirational figure, just the thought of him not being the world and no more of his nature documentaries is </3 I guess Chris Martin too, though that would be more of a horrible shock considering he's still quite young.

Ian McKellen & Stephen Fry, as mentioned, would also be huge losses to the world and would affect me a lot.

Paul McCartney's death will be a huge shock and affect lots of us who love The Beatles and his solo stuff.
