Words in the English dictionary that don't fit with usual spelling/pronounciation rules mostly. I can't currently think of an example.

I really don't like a lot of abbreviated terms like 'brekkie', 'sambo' and 'sausie' sick2.gif. I don't know why but I think it stems from my childhood/being embarrassed by my family. (That said, I'd never turn down a sausage sandwich for breakfast wub.gif)

Similarly, I absolutely loathe when people use the word 'smellies' for perfumes, lotions etc. Just no. no.gif

omg yes at all of these! And I echo Lotti's boyf/hubbie, all those sorts of contractions annoy me. Like my mum calls curly fries just "curlies" and I don't why Ifind it so annoying laugh.gif

And my old foster parents used to call the remote for a TV "buttons", that really annoyed me too.
