Virus is now spreading explosively. Quote terrifying but more than anything a deeply upsetting condition and already affected so many mothers and newborns. sad.gif

It has now been detected in 23 countries. Do you only care about the threat of it reaching us like many seem to be or are there things that can be done to help others across the world?

Well I'm not sure what you mean or why we need to compare but it is a horrible virus that is affecting thousands in Brazil and it's being detected in multiple other countries. It's big scale and exploding currently. The images of the babies affected are quite startling and I pray they find a cure because it's affecting the most vulnerable.

Can it spread here even if we don't get mosquitos?

No it won't really spread here at the moment without the mosquitos but that doesn't comfort me at all knowing that 3-4 million people could be affected with it elsewhere in the world. unsure.gif

I wanted to compare because of the potential threat of it spreading overseas.

But horrible.
