Oh my god mellow.gif What has even happened this month, February better not have more of the same..

I know some people disliked him when it came to Eurovision but I was always a big fan of his commentary. RIP sad.gif

sad.gif Terrible news, I loved him on Eurovision coverage and CIN. It was bad enough that he skipped CIN for the first time last year, had no clue it was this serious. RIP, awful month for celeb deaths.

R.I.P Terry. That's one part of my childhood, gone! CiN wasn't the same without him last year. sad.gif (although I can't say I was too much of a fan)

another childhood DJ loss inside a month. Totally unexpected, Terry was a broadcasting Big Figure, always amiable and amusing, and did a lot of good during his life. He did Eurovision a few years longer than he should have, but I pretty much have nothing bad to say about him.

I used to sit with my reel-to-reel tape recorder recording latest releases that didn't make the UK top 20 as he was on Radio 2 (good quality FM) and Radio 1 was AM (crap quality whines whistles, fading in and out). He insisted on talking over starts and ends, but hey ho I didn't have any money to buy records. I was barely a teen. Thanks Terry.

so many celeb deaths this month sad.gif I never watched CIN or Eurovision when he was doing commentary to be honest but he's done so much for presenting [plus the radio 2 breakfast show which my mum listens to was a lot better with him on it, I can't stand Chris Evans]

Well, he was undeniably a legend and an icon of TV, helped in no small part because he seems to have been ever present for about 50 years, but I can't feel too sad as my only experiences (CIN, ESC) weren't THE BEST.

RIP Sir Terry Wogan. An icon, a national treasure and the face of Children In Need and commentary for Eurovision. "Wake Up To Wogan" and his chat shoe. One of the great TV/Radio presenters of our time. He even set a world record for the longest successful putt in golf.

A terrible month indeed,
