=20th. Firestarter (Round 3, 2 votes - 12.50%)
=20th. Spitfire (Round 3, 2 votes - 12.50%) 22nd. Wild Frontier (Round 3, 5 votes - 31.25%) 23rd. Hotride (Round 2, 3 votes - 15.00%) 24th. Take Me To The Hospital (Round 2, 4 votes - 20.00%) 25th. Ibiza (Round 1, 4 votes - 28.57%) 26th. Baby's Got A Temper (Round 1, 6 votes - 42.86%) A massacre here as 3 songs exit the contest. In 22nd is 'Wild Frontier', the third release from latest album 'The Day Is My Enemy'. It scraped the top 200 by charting at #197 and racked up by far the most votes in the last round. However NO NO NO at the next 2  a tie for the 2nd highest votes between Firestarter & Spitfire means they both have to leave  Spitfire was the third release from 'Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned' however missed the top 100, charting at #107. One of their loudest, proudest songs of all in my books.Firestarter of course needs no introduction. Arguably the band's most recognisable hit it became their first UK #1 single in 1996 where it remained at the top for 3 weeks. The lead single from most successful album 'The Fat Of The Land' it became one of the most influential dance tracks of the decade and I'm gutted it has left us so early. Voting will last around 2/3 days and another 2 (or maybe more) songs will be leaving this round. Also vote for your least favourite between the two in the tiebreaker to see who can make the top 20. |

I found "Wild Frontier" to be the strongest in their latest album but their weakest compared to their other singles.
The poll already ruined by "Firestarter" going out  Why don't we just eliminate all the best singles then

God, what is wrong with you all? Firestarter already out?
Voodoo Child (Pendulum Remix). I just feel that because it's a remix and subsequently produced by someone else, it's not really The Prodigy. |

Well this just shows that this format doesn't make a lot of sense a lot of the time! Lol. At least 'Breathe' outlasted it but I expect that won't survive too much longer for much the same reasons as 'Firestarter' (i.e. not needing many votes to go out, and too many of their other less well known songs splitting the votes etc.)
