Some people say with the rise of the internet, the use of greetings cards has died out. They are wrong. Greetings cards are very much alive and breathing. This is the place to share or discuss cards you have received, or have simply seen on the internet. Do you give cards? Or do you just get them.

Yeah I still give family and friends birthday cards and Christmas cards. I just think it's so un-personal to get an e-card.

I don't think I've ever actually received an E-Card? laugh.gif I give cards for all the main occasions apart from Easter! Although I don't give cards for tiny things, such as they sell cards for prom night here now, can't say I've ever received/will give one of those! laugh.gif

^ Bubblegum ones used to be my faves *.* Moonpig personalised ones are also pretty cool.

Physical greeting cards over e-cards all the way!

No mention of Lotti's Card Shop or Lotti's Card Shop: The Rabb.it version? unsure.gif

I do give "real" cards during birthdays and Christmas, and receive them too. I have to admit however, my cousin and I (one of my very best friends) have a tradition going on where we always send each other e-cards when it's one of our birthdays or Christmas, but I'm starting to get a little sick of it to be honest, there are so many cards to choose from but most of them are so crap! There are so many childish/tries-to-be-funny-but-is-actually-unfunny e-cards, and so many overly sentimental ones also. Would like to see some more stylish ones please.

Lotti should make one of those shows where you send fake cards to catch women cheating on their husbands

I still send cards to my family for birthdays, Christmas and mothers day and fathers day, I usually get my close friends a card but I recently discovered none of them 'do' cards so I thought it would be a bit weird to keep doing it laugh.gif

Then there's ofc Lotti who gets a card from me for everything and vise versa, she's really into her cards kink.gif Generally we have a bit of a contest to see who can find the punniest/most amusing one :')

I'm interested to know if anyone keeps their cards? For some reason I feel bad about throwing cards away and they end up in a box. I've got so many piled up over the years. I may chuck most of them apart from the special ones soon though soon, I'm undecided.

I also keep them! I'm quite a sentimental person though and like the thought behind choosing and sending cards. Pretty sure I found like an 8th birthday card in my wardrobe the other day when I was decluttering my room lmao.
