Very simple, are there any bad habits you have picked up from Buzzjack that you use when talking to friends/family?

I often find myself doing '*.*' and '!!!!!!!' a lot as well as using the word 'ha' drama.gif

What about yourselves? smile.gif

Remember when you said "teas" to someone not on Buzzjack lmao

Not necessarily only Buzzjack-related, but sometimes I get the urge to say "lol" out loud when someone says something in real life to which I would respond that way online. And sometimes I genuinely do say it, it's so weird.

I think ~ tilde is supposed to be used as a way of signing online but on here people only use it to make posts more interesting than just a full stop or emoticon.

Danthan cited as the lead users of "~" though *__*

it was originally a thing the indie posters did but then it went mainstream and we caught on to it laugh.gif

I accidentally introduced my mum to the concept of 'shade' and since then she's tried using it to seem cool laugh.gif

I have to stop myself overusing *.* (because if you do it just loses impact, although perhaps it lost that long ago) It's just so very useful for when you want to indicate that something is very, beautifully, fantastic and I keep forgetting that people outside this place won't know what it means.

as if the guy with the tilde in his name gets forgotten

tbh the tilde thing does get a little annoying when it gets used in every other sentence~ apart from when Ethan uses it~ cos his overuse of it actually amuses me for some reason, it's cute ~music.gif~

I do use it sometimes tho~

Not speaking English in regular life has its advantages. I would never find myself accidentally using slang. Poot did get namedropped onve tho :')

I need to roll around the floor laughing more tbh.

I actually watched something, on Youtube or a gif which I found so funny I did end up on the floor.

The tilde (~ , pronounced TILL-duh or TILL-dee and sometimes called a "twiddle" or a "squiggle") is a special character found on most keyboards and used in a wide range of IT-related applications, including mathematics, programming, file systems, directories and URL addressing.

So I get the impression that the ~ started by someone accidentally typing it at the end of a sentence one day (as it's right next to the Enter key) and it's been one of those things that has stuck on here.

The similar logic with "lamfooo" and "boted".

I get *_*, it's just the opposite of *.*, correct? (I definitely know this, I'm a veteran)

I still do say "tilled" also laugh.gif even if it is incorrect "till-dee" just sounds ugly to me. Same with "Carne" in "Chilli Con Carne" etc. just don't like the "e" sound at the end, seems out of place mellow.gif

I think *_* is very similar to  that's the impression I've got anyway. but with more shock added to it.
