I don't do Valentine, i never did even when i was in relationship. It's just something for shops to cash in too far too commercial for my liking.

Nothing. Myself and my boyfriend are too cynical for Valentine's. We generally go on a lot of dates anyway, like films and dinner. Sometimes on Valentine's Day we stop off for a Nando's and judge everyone else that's there on an actual date.

Bray is currently on the way here!! What I said in the weekend plans thread really - going to The Harvester tonight and just generally spending the weekend together. It feels really nice that the day will actually be special this year!

Sweet plans there James <3

Nothing too romantic because we are both broke as a joke. Going to the cinema to watch 'How To Be Single' and eating at Wasabi.

Cheap n cheesy holiday tbh. What a waste of money and effort esp. For someone you will break up with sooner or later.

I think people complain about Valentine's Day are worse than people who celebrate it. It never affected me when I was single, people are so bitter about other people's happiness.

HERE HERE.

What's wrong with showing a little bit of love? Yes, it's a commercial holiday and yes, couples should treat each other well all year round, but I see Valentine's Day as an extra opportunity to spend time together and spoil each other a little bit. Since when was TOO MUCH LOVE a bad thing?

You don't have to make it expensive though, and if people choose to, who cares ... why does it affect you if they want to spoil the person they're with?

Nothing. As usual. But also, as is usual, I'm happy to see the people who do have someone getting excited about it. Spread all of the love. Other people's happiness is just as important as my own.
