Who, if any, 'YouTubers' (people who make YouTube videos) do you watch??

I used to watch a lot of people, but these days I just like reaction channels like LeafyIsHere.

My favourite YouTuber is probably CaseyNeistat, though, he makes daily vlog videos and his editing style is so addictive and pleasing biggrin.gif

What about you??

I never get what's so entertaining about 'Vlogging', I prefer the stuff I watch on YouTube to have actual structured content rather than just the 'hi this is my daily life pls like comment and subscribe' bull.

Of the stuff I do watch though I'd say the best are probably Geography Now! and PBS Idea Channel.

Casey Neistat is so good wub.gif Big fan of Ben Brown and FunForLouis who have the similar 'quality' of daily vlog.

I think the way YouTubers are being pushed into the limelight isn't really showing the best of what's on there, the Zoella's, Alfie's etc is generally aimed at a teenagers so it's a different target audience to most of us on Buzzjack. It's not all mindless challenge videos and 'follow me around' things, although there are plenty of those types out there. For me it's another way of connecting as humans and sharing our experiences through video and for me it's quite refreshing rather than some of the traditional media which is very structured and where things only become popular if they fit in with what's cool.

I avoid all the blog channels because I literally don't give any f***s about what is going on in random people's lives. I like the humour and critique channels the most (A Dose Of Buckley, CinemaSins, Honest Trailers, Alonzo Lerone's 'Dumbest Fails', some of the shows on Ray William Johnson's channel [ironically none of them actually featuring RayWJ], etc.)

Yeah exactly, people like Casey aren't just the generic 'look at my life' vloggers, most of his videos include really great stories and there's a captivating artistic element to all of his videos.

I like vlogging/people talking about what's going on in their lives ONLY if they already produce things that I'm interested in, as then I'll be interested in them as well. I tend to really value people coming across as intelligent and willing to impart knowledge and discuss things rather than acting stupid for views (the aimed at teenagers thing).

Currently the people I watch most are DoseOfBuckley, Geography Now, The Anime Man, Vsauce, a few gaming channels as well. And of course whenever CGP Grey decides to put up a new video. Recently subscribed to boogie2988 as well after his recent FineBros video, he seems like a stand-up guy.

I have no real interest in YouTubers, the only one whose videos I watch regularly is Troye Sivan. I find most of the other ones I know fairly annoying oops. Not something I've really delved into though I must admit.

I was a fan of a lot of vlog channels a few years ago,I used to watch most of the 'big' vloggers, my favourite was always Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart but after DailyGrace ended, Grace's content just kept getting worse and worse, I don't find her funny at all now and feel like she's only in it for the success rather than to make people laugh, I still find Mamrie funny but I don't watch You Deserve A Drink really, just some of the stuff on her second channel now. I'm not really into 'follow me around' vlogs, I much prefer listening to someone talk or do a sketch etc.

Currently there are only a handful I still watch, but I don't keep up with all their videos, it's more just something I will go do once in a while, I used to end every day watching videos in my subscriptions though laugh.gif iisuperwomanii, Jenna Marbles, Emma Blackery, Dan and Phil (more so Dan) Troye Sivan (although he hardly makes videos now what with his music career taking off) and Grace and Mamrie are the only ones I still like to some extent. There's a YouTuber who is relatively new to making videos who I watch a lot, her name is Liz Rogers and she basically just reviews a lot of albums, songs, music videos etc from the kind of bands I listen to, she'll talk about tours she's been to or do giveaways and sometimes will do videos on upcoming bands etc, I just like her content as she isn't trying to be famous, she's just talking about what she likes, I found her through Tumblr as well, it turned out we were mutuals on there so it's nice to have a channel where someone is talking about music you're into as I hadn't really found that before tongue.gif

CineMash (can't remember what he does, it's been that long)
CinemaSins (plotholes, movie mistakes etc.)
CollegeHumor (skits)

The Lady Gagz Show etc. (badly Paint animated/AI voiced/spelt scripts concerning female pop stars, quite funny)
koit (animated stuff)
LeafyIsHere (same as Pyro)
Malinda Kathleen Reese (putting song lyrics into Google Translate several times, results are usually nonsensical but hilarious laugh.gif )
Matthew Santoro (facts)
McGoiter (other Brock Baker channel)
Miranda Sings (very odd blogger..)
Music Video Sins (Everything wrong with mv's)
nigahiga (skits/vlogs, one of my faves)
Ollie Langdon (does all kinds of funny video skits)
Peladophobian (ILLUMINATI)
PewDiePie (most should know what he does, I don't watcg him play games though)
PopToonsTV (similar to Lady Gagz but better animation and video quality)
ScreenJunkies ("honest" trailers of movies, similar to Cinema Sins)
thecomputernerd01 (does parodies and blogs, but not done parodies for ages sad.gif )
theDOMINICshow (similar to nigahiga, does a lot of Now add a Dancer videos which are great)
TheMasterPoop (mostly Harry Potter poops which are great!)
TomSka (amazing asdfmovies and skits)
Vagabonds (used to do montage parodies a lot but not it's very rare)
VSauce (amazing science videos )
Wassabi Productions (Youtuber duo doing various challenges)
Weebl's Stuff (very odd animation songs)
Yo Mama ("yo mama so X" jokes in animated form)

I don't really watch "vloggers" unless they make it funny or in a different way to those who just talk in front of a camera)

I have to say I am quite partial to the odd Miranda Sings video, I used to love all her videos but now it can be a bit hit or miss though, I think when you watch Colleen Evans' videos, you appreciate Miranda more as you can see how talented Colleen is happy.gif
