Chicken is very popular at my parents house - I go there for the weekend about once a month.
When I'm in Dublin I never do a roast. Roasting for one seems pointless. sad.gif

I love a pork belly roast. Mine takes 6 hours.

'beif' laugh.gif

Usually beef or chicken but I like most meats, even though I don't eat it much.

There is a carvery that we sometimes visit that does a choice of gammon, beef, lamb or turkey. I usually go for 50% beef and 50% turkey- you have to turn up early though because after 12 it becomes really busy. But the gravy and veg that they do is heavenly.

At home I don't really do roast dinner - so for instance tonight it'll be Chana with Kale (ugh!)

Can't beat a bit of chicken wub.gif Or turkey. If going to a carvery might ask for a small bit of pork or gammon on the side too. Don't do beef at all unless it's in burger form (and even then I'd prefer a chicken burger).

I am 100% here for roast vegetables wub.gif

Having Qworn roast today (vegetarian)

Mother is a vegetarian for about a year now but me and brother are 'half' vegetarian. I'll eat like hot dogs and pasties but I don't really mind if it's a Qworn or meat roast or whatever.

I also like chicken/turkey roast as my faves yahoo.gif

I'm more of a chicken nugget kinda girl. I don't actually ever have roast dinner on Sunday! Would probably go for chicken if I did~

hey jade,

mmm, i like you all ready:)

here i am talking about roasts, yet tonight i'm having a KFC bucket

and at the carvery comment, my nan used to go to 1 all the time- and yes, she used to wait maybe 1 or 2 hours before she was seated.

would i ever go to 1?. no. i don't trust them. other people's fingers in the food, you don't know how long the food's been sitting their..

not to mention i couldn't cope with the crowds
