which ones do you use?

a lot of people use google obviously (it indexes so much stuff), but is their anyone here like me, who prefers other search engines?

i use ask.com. not only is it a good search engine, but i love on the homepage how their is always a daily question (and a list of the most popular searches)

i sometimes use bing, and i've been known to use dogpile (yes, such a search engine exists)

1 of the few things i did actually remember from my computer classes at school. found it so weird

I exclusively use Google now, but I remember the first few times I used search engines when I was a kid, my Dad would teach me and my sister about all the different ones that existed back then. Google is definitely my go-to now.

Google simply because it does the job efficiently and accurately. And it's got so many more features that I use on it, like advanced image search, street view, thing like that.

I only just now found out what exactly the "I'm Feeling Lucky" feature does! Apparently it brings you straight to the top result of whatever you have searched for.

Never used that feature. Always seemed pointless to me.?

Google all the way! The default browser on all the Uni computers being Bing is incredibly annoying.

I re-downloaded GOOGLE CHROME itself the other day and it seems even that tried to make Bing my default search engine. Really gets my goat, I do wonder how popular the search term 'Google' is in most common Bing searches kink.gif

I did also use to use Ask Jeeves back in the day (</3)

Google all the way.

Everytime I update Skype I have to be careful not to make Bing my default search engine, it's very shifty by automatically ticking the box, so you have to untick it.

Actually when I downloaded Google Chrome, the default browser was Yahoo. NEVER AGAIN. Set it to Google and never once have I looked back.

Google, obv. Nothing else provides the same level of results with clarity and ease of use.

I just looked into that, it's called that because it's for "private" searches:

https://disconnect.me/search

Now someone copy Google's code but the difference being the searches are private magic.gif

For some reason I've never been able to fathom, "Google" is a popular search term in Google mellow.gif
