Who is it that you have an immense love for, above all others?

Me- Bastille, easily my all time fave - although I forgot they existed for a few months as I was caught up in other music heehee.gif They could easily take up all places 1-10 in my personal chart if I spent a full day listening to them laugh.gif

Your turn. biggrin.gif

The Beatles are my all-time favourite. wub.gif 'Revolver' and 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' take up the spots of my top two favourite albums ever. The little 'Eleanor Rigby'/'I'm Only Sleeping'/'Love You To' run and 'Tomorrow Never Knows' closer on the former is utter PERFECTION.

I'm just so in awe of their developments from each album. Such a wondrous journey to embark on as a listener!

Generally the actual top one changes, oops. My solid-ish faves in no particular order are Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and Jessica Mauboy.

How could you forget your favourite artist exists? Surely that won't happen with your all time fave?

Anyway, the holy trinity for me has been Kylie, J-Lo and Alanis Morissette for a good 8 or so years now.

Girls Aloud for me, I've been a fan of theirs almost since the start and I was about 5 or 6 when I got their debut album so they've been with me most of my life. Their music hasn't aged for me and still remains as amazing as it was back in the day.

My top 5:

1. Girls Aloud
2. One Direction
3. S Club 7
4. Lucie Silvas
5. Justin Bieber

Oasis take my runner-up position! Though I guess they were heavily influenced by The Beatles so it makes sense. laugh.gif

For this, I need to say Paramore as they're the one band who's music - as cringey/cliche as this sounds - I could always turn to and still can no matter what I'm going through, even if I'm not just as obsessed as I was from 2010-2013 in particular, I will always love this band no matter what as they've gotten me through a lot so they'll always be special to me. I prefer Tonight Alive's music if I'm being honest but I don't feel as personally connected to them as I do with Paramore, if that makes sense? There's songs from Paramore that I can tie to a specific time or experience and I don't think I quite have that with Tonight Alive yet, despite being a fan since 2013.

Since we're doing trinities: Paramore, Tonight Alive and PVRIS - like Lotti, Halsey and Marina would also make up my top five with Fall Out Boy as a close 6th laugh.gif

i can't decide between sia, or tori amos.

i've collected every album tori's ever recorded (i've ordered the new one)

it's the same with sia. makes it hard because both artists have such meaningful lyrics.

i suppose tori. but only because she plays the piano in a lot of her songs, and that is something i admire (i don't play anything myself)

band wise, linken park.

i love them

The Spice Girls, basically grew up with their music. Wannabe was my 1st single that i bought from then i was hooked. Went to the Spiceworld tour in Arnhem, followed their solo careers but sadly couldn't go to the reunion tour in 2007/2008. Hopefully i can go to their 20th anniversary tour this year.

Trinities of music is disturbingly close to triangles of music.

Anyway, Nightwish are mine, no other artist comes close in consistently sounding amazing and addictive, over multiple albums and great differences in sound (within their own genre of course). Everything else is second tier to Tuomas and his creations.

So hard for me to choose, I've got too many favourites.

I'll say Keane with Muse, Pink Floyd, Paramore, Lights and Relient K closely following. I should probably make a top 100 artists thing or something.

Tom's voice is just wub.gif . I basically want to be him. Tim's piano and everything else just completes it.

ohmy.gif I thought it'd be Beyonce!

My top 3 are usually Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears & The Killers.

Up there with them though are Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Spice Girls, Little Mix and Busted (no particular order)! A lot of those are nostalgia-driven. But ultimately they're the ones who have made an impact on me and influenced my tastes in music the most.

My old time favourite is Pink, I've been a fan for 16 years.

My other favourite bands/artists are...
Butch Walker.... I always feel alone in this one, that hardly anyone knows who he is, but he's wrote/produced a lot of famous songs too, so people probably know him more than they think laugh.gif
Bowling For Soup... My favourite band wub.gif Again most don't know much about them, maybe only know their 'career saving song' Girl All The Bad Guys Want (and a few others they released around that time)... but they are still around, still releasing music and touring. And they're SO good live, I always do the VIP meet & greet when they tour because they're such nice guys I love to meet them.
Bon Jovi... Loved these guys since around 2000, got into them properly around 2003, another great band live
Rod Stewart... I grew up listening to Rod as he is my mum's favourite, when I was a kid I hated him because he was all she listened too laugh.gif But I think he's awesome now, and he's still great live even though he's 71 ohmy.gif
Katy Perry
Sia
Aerosmith
Avril Lavigne
Britney Spears
Motley Crue
Alice Cooper
Queen

My music taste is a bit mixed up, if you put my iPod on shuffle you can be listening to the likes of Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus one minute, and then Motley Crue and Alice Cooper the next laugh.gif
