Words, is oh such a twitch-tickling problem to me all my life.

In third place we have The BFG which is actually Dahl's favourite book (that he wrote)! The book, which is currently set to get a retelling on the big screen, is dedicated to Dahl's late daughter Olivia who tragically died at the age of 7. It tells the magic tale of Sophie, an orphaned girl who is taken on a fantastical journey atop the friendliest of giants from the title. It's a tale of dreams, nightmares, fantasties, wonder and awe and perfectly encapsulates the magic of Dahl's writing and his ability to combine the simple human conditions that we all experience in a child-friendly, warm, loving manner. A beautiful story and often richly awarded it's a very, very worthy top 3 placed classic!

THE FINAL. Still choosing your least favourite! Deadline: Sunday 20th March

03. The BFG (19 votes, 55.88%)
04. James and the Giant Peach (10 votes, 50.00%)
05. The Twits (16 votes, 45.71%)
06. The Witches (11 votes, 33.33%)
07. Fantastic Mr Fox (11 votes, 30.56%)
08. George's Marvellous Medicine (9 votes, 40.91%)
09. Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator (9 votes, 27.27%)
10. Danny the Champion of the World (16 votes, 48.48%)
12. Esio Trot (16 votes, 28.57%)
12. The Enormous Crocodile (16 votes, 28.57%)

Perfect top two. Gone for 'Charlie and The Chocolate Factory' though as 'Matilda' is just everything. <3

Matilda needs to win now. I'd have gone for the BFG out of the top 3 but if that's not being fulfilled Matilda is a great book.

Both are incredible. How do I choose? unsure.gif

Well I love chocolate.

But doesn't a big chocolate cake appear in Matilda?

Eh. But there's a lot more chocolate in Charlie..., so I'll go Matilda tongue.gif tongue.gif

Matilda to win definitely, amazing book and film <3 I prefer the BFG to both of them but that would make a more than worthy replacement (though I voted it to go by mistake! Could I get my vote changed to Charlie plz ;o (cos she needs youuuuu, this is for Matilda kink.gif))
