Im going to Alton towers next week I can't wait to try the new ride. Really unsure about going on smiler though after everything what happened, but I suppose human error could happen on any roller coaster so...?!?!?

enjoy!

(i want a good review and pictures!)

as for the smiler, in the end it's up to you.

all i can say is that alton towers did reopen it, so it must be safe

plus nothing ever happens twice

If the accident had happened because of the rollercoaster itself then I wouldn't go on it, but as it was human error, I will probably go on it. I will try to remember to put a picture or two on here, but i'll definitely put some on twitter smile.gif

I've literally just stepped off this ride. What a head f*** that was! I really enjoyed it in a 'I hate it' kinda way. If that makes sense. Weirdest experience of my life

I'd like to give Galactica a go. Air was my favourite rollercoaster at Alton Towers, so this rebrand certainly has the potential to be awesome. I'm quite a jumpy person, so I'm interested to see what it's like - I hope it's not too scary for my lame self.
