I have pinched these from another forum but have checked them and they are correct.

1. Dogs always face North when pooing

2. Al Gore & Tommy Lee Jones were college roommates.

Robin Williams & Christopher Reeve were too.

3. In France there are fake bus stops outside old folks homes so that if they get out they don't wander far and it works apparently!

4.It's an urban myth that you can't lick your elbow. Some people can.

5. Ever seen a movie or TV programme where cops are examining a virtually intact body that's supposedly fallen from a skyscraper? I have. Well they always splatter and look like a pizza when having fallen so far.

time passes more slowly the faster you go, so everyone who has been in an aeroplane is minutely younger than they would have been staying grounded. Though the plane trip probably aged you quite a bit more physically with the recycled air, germs and so on... tongue.gif

Last Saturday (23 April) was the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death. Miguel de Cervantes (arguably the greatest Spanish writer and the author of Don Quixote) also died on 23 April 1616, but he died 11 days before Shakespeare.

In my search for a BJSC Worldvision entry, I have found that there are at least four bands in the world called Rosa Parks. I approve of this interesting useless fact.

Speaking of US presidents, John Tyler (10th US president) was born in 1790 and two of his grandchildren are still alive today.
