What are your top 20 least played Madonna songs?
We have a thread for most played so I thought this could be an interesting discussion? Rules : if a song is on multiple albums you must add up all their plays (I've greatest hits and live albums). My play count began around the time MDNA was released. 1. Hey You - (10 plays) 2. What Can You Lose 3. Candy Perfume Girl 4. Can't Stop 5. Incredible 6. I'm Going Bananas 7. Love Makes The World Go Round 8. Survival 9. Cry Baby 10. Dance 2 Night 11. Now I'm following You 12. Pretender 13. Shanti 14. More 15. Voices 16. Sooner Or Later 17. Your Honesty 18. Santa Baby 19. Act of Contrition 20. Shoo Be Doo (4 plays) So my play count is very I'm Breathless heavy. As a kid I played Shoo Be Doo and Pretender all the time. I am very surprised Bye Bye Baby isn't featured I would class this as my least fav Madonna song ever !!! I very much doubt anyone has any fav out of these tracks. None of these songs feature on GH albums or Live ones which also will limit their play count . |

Nice idea! Unfortunately I have no way of actually showing an order of my listens but, in terms of her studio albums, recent years would probably show that the Like a Virgin and True Blue albums are the ones whose tracks (bar singles) I listen to least. That's not to say they are my least favourites, it's just I have little incentive to relisten to them on Spotify. MDNA is my least favourite album but I still to 'Gang Bang', 'I'm Addicted', 'Love Spent', 'Masterpiece', 'Beautiful Killer' and 'Best Friend' a lot.

Interesting thread! I really like 'Love Makes The World Go Round' and sort of like 'Incredible' (
 ) but the rest I can see why they're so low down in the play count. I'll research and get mine soon ~ |

I don't have an official one, but there is a list of songs I NEVER listen to, and haven't in years so I'll list them:
Incredible Did You Do It? What It Feels Like For A Girl Secret Garden Any album track on Bedtime Stories that isn't Sanctuary, Survival or Love Tried To Welcome Me B-Day Song Gimme All Your Luvin' Autotune Baby SEX Holy Water Iconic Bitch I'm Madonna I know the last few are cheating, but I've listened to most of them ONLY WENCE. |

^ how can you blast and hate on a song after only hearing it once. Especially from an artist I adore, I always give songs multiple listens before making full opinions - most of the ones you listed grew on me over time and are favourites now (like Holy Water and Iconic). Open your heart and GIVE THEM TIME.

I'm never going to change my view on something like Holy Water, the lyrics are just VILE and the issue with isn't so much melodic, it's just an offensively awful song she should not even consider having anything to do with. The closest comparison is Incredible, which I must have listened to 40 odd times, and I still cannot find any merit in. I'd wager, in fact, that because I am such a big fan I'm even harsher on songs that don't quite reach the high level she has set for herself over the years.

According to my last.fm it's mainly some live/remix tracks but of the studio album/compilation tracks my least played are:
Physical Attraction 10 Voices 10 Waiting 10 Where Life Begins 10 In This Life 9 Pretender 9 Over and Over 9 Shoo-Bee-Doo 9 Dance 2night 8 Love Tried to Welcome 8 Autotune Baby 7 B-Day Song 7 Did You Do It? 7 Secret Garden 7 Why's It So Hard 7 Words 7 Revolver 2 Not sure why 'Waiting' is so low - I love it

I just don't play it as much as the others clearly. The highlights are fantastic but I don't go to the album tracks as much.
