wot r ur favrit rides at ha fair thinking.gif

Here's a good link on Wikipedia with some images of some of the most common fairground rides https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_amusement_rides I was going to make a poll but there's so many out there. A lot of the more thrilling/scary/fun ones aren't usually in my area unfortunately which is a shame.

Here are some rides that I enjoy happy.gif

I can't even remember what it's like on a rollercoaster. It's been years and there's none round here nocheer.gif

Rides like the Rounder are ones I wouldn't like to go on as it looks like I'll just end up being really dizzee/sick which isn't fun laugh.gif

I think my general regular favourite is the Waltzer though. I know it's not really scary or anything but I just love how the speed of the carts just push you at the side and the speed keeps changing all the time heart.gif

Carousel, Ferris Wheel, Tea-Cups and not too massive water rides are my favourites heart.gif

(and literally 90% of the rides at Disney wub.gif )

Oh my god the images of most of those rides make me feel a bit sick.

I'm not a rides/rollercoaster person at all. A lot of 'thrill-seeking' rides are usually not for me 'cause I have a really bad phobia of heights. Log flumes can be quite cool though if the drop is not enormously high. I only ever really go to funfairs in Spain and that was mainly for the bumper cars and these cool trampolines that they had.

I usually like the relatively tame ones oops, would get so nervous of having to go on a ride like Stealth (which is why I haven't been to Thorpe Park).

The ones in the OP I'd probably go on, but I don't exactly go to the fair/theme park very often anyway.

Oblivion at Alton Towers has always been a lifelong red hot favourite. As I haven't been in a few years I can't say for certainty it still exists though.

Not big on adrenaline and high speeds so I generally go for the ferris wheel. I do also like the Pharaoh's Fury. I will ride most roller coasters although it's been a while, haven't been to a theme park in 5+ years. I doubt I've been on any fair rides in that long either, I pretty much only go for the food!!

i don't think i'd ever go on a fairground ride

went with someone to the fair once, and when she went to go on 1 of the rides it was closed, asked why.. well, we're sorry, the wheel's fallen off- and since that comment, i've not been keane to go on any fairground rides (another story i heard was someone falling out of a ride because the safety bars wern't secure)

when it comes to theme parks though, it's a totally diffrent story.. i know they are tested, and so i'll use them myself

i love the swinging pirate ships, the indoor dark rides where you have to shoot things with lazers, little roller coasters (ones that won't go upside down), and simulator rides.

i may be tempted to go on a water ride, providing you don't get too wet

Dont like spinning ones and the mission to mars one at epcot is a bit churning cause the whole thing spins to mimic high gravity in a spaceship.

Other than that the more thrilling the better, the higher the better, the faster the better. Love hulk rollercoaster, duelling dragons, dr doom, kraken all of the top florida rides. I used to gon and on and on again trying to outdo my nephews laugh.gif

I like the scariest rides ever. If presented with the chance I would 100% do this...

If it spins, it wins though nocheer.gif kink.gif

As I mentioned I don't like the ones that make me dizzy but rides like the Waltzers spin but don't make me dizzy are the best biggrin.gif

I think the scariest one I've been on has to be Titan at Six Flags Over Texas in Dallas.

That first drop was incredible. 65° and 250 feet to about 85 mph!

looks fab! This one is shorter but you get flipped over several times. Who wouldn't want to be upside down going 65mph! What's not to love! laugh.gif

Woah!

Theme parks in America are so much better than in the UK because you are at least usually guaranteed clear blue skies and sunshine. Nothing worse than being stuck on Oblivion in Alton Towers during a rainy/thundering Thursday afternoon. At least at Thorpe Park you are meant to get wet I suppose...

I don't ride any now, but my favorites were the Scrambler and Tilt-A-Whirl.
