With Euro 2016 starting tomorrow.

What would you say is your favourite football related song that you've heard or listen to when the Euros are on?

Has to be this for me.

Wavin' Flag by miles, mainly because of its all-encompassing nature that could apply to any nation and world music anthem qualities. It sounds glorious every time.

This! And I really like the Shakira ones from both of the last World Cups.

Three Lions is a classic though.

I'll give a vote to Vindaloo tbh, I know a lot of people hate it, but it's really fun and always lifts my spirits about England, even in futility. Three Lions is obviously the superior one, but I'd happily take them both.

Though I think my favourite is Waving Flag - great lyrics, a universal worldwide sound and just so fitting for such a big championship as the world cup.

Hard to deny that 3 Lions tops it. Having said that, Carnival De Paris is very much up there as well. It's absolutely amazing how every country that took part in France 98 is musically represented at some point within a 4 minute pop song, from steel drums (Brazil), accordions (France), and even bagpipes (Scotland).

EnglandNewOrder is still the best for me. John Barnes’ rap> Kanye West’s new album.

Wavin' Flag, Waka Waka and that Embrace song are all great, don't mind David/Zara either. I find Three Lions surprisingly tolerable to say I can't stand football.

Dario G is my fave, 3 Lions is great, New Order OK, but as I'm old I'll plug actual football team songs - songs "sung" by the players. These are the best ones:

and for non World Cup footie teams this is the least bad song:

Almost every other footballer sung record is unlistenable. laugh.gif

Yes Waka Waka is a tune and I also liked that Dizzee Rascal James Corden song Shout a few years ago. It's... got pretty old since though. I'm sure there's those songs that always get played and associated with football, like that Beautiful Day song, can't remember who it's by.
