so,

i recently had to send a dvd back to a seller on amazon

on their page, they claim that if you arn't happy with the product, simply return it- and you'll be refunded

question: it's been 3 weeks, and my messages to the seller are just being ignored (it's a company, so their's more than 1 person)

can i somehow report them to amazon or something.

something's not right i'm sure

I haven't had to use online shopping like Amazon very much although I have bought things off eBay a few times and haven't had any major issues with the seller fortunately. Sometimes you do get people like this and there's usually something you can do like report the seller to Amazon like you said, I don't know for sure if/how there's a way to do that but good luck if you find a solution biggrin.gif

I've had problems with a company working through Amazon before and I talked to Amazon via the live chat and everything was sorted by them! I would definitely recommend trying that

I'm sure you can report them by filing a claim, which is in the 'Your Orders' section under 'File Claim'. That should allow you to contact the seller directly and/or claim for a refund. I've done this before and there's a set period of time after you've filed a claim where they review your case and you get your refund.

where on the page is the live chat section?. i might have to do that.

thanks for the suggestion about filing a claim too. worth taking that in to account

Go onto the contact page and I think you are able to get on a live chat from that!

do you know if it's 24 hours? (or certain hours)

i hope they are nicer than the people at BT- god i knew their was a reason i wanted to switch services.. their support sucks

I have to say I'm not too sure on that, it should say somewhere on the website though. Maybe even googling "Amazon live chat" may bring it up?! Yeah the Amazon guy who helped me was super helpful, BT have always been bad for us too! laugh.gif

i'm hopefully going to do it later today (when it's not so rainy outside) and my internet is actually faster

i can just imagine myself in amazon chat talking away, and all of a sudden get thrown off.

not fun lol
