Mine would have to be:

- The Beatles - Revolver
- The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
- Oasis - (What's The Story) Morning Glory?
- Oasis - Definitely Maybe
- Avril Lavigne - Let Go
- Avril Lavigne - Under My Skin
- Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster
- Lady Gaga - Born This Way
- Gorillaz - Demon Days
- Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
- Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
- Spice Girls - Spice
- Sugababes - Three
- Girls Aloud - Tangled Up
- Disclosure - Settle
- Clean Bandit - New Eyes
- Amy Winehouse - Back To Black
- Michael Jackson - Thriller

Revolver is my all-time favourite but Sgt. Pepper's is a close second. So incredibly ahead of their time and innovative wub.gif

Quite a few artist doubles here laugh.gif i'm way more of a singles person than albums so there are not loads that spring to mind. Am probably forgetting some obvious ones here.

emotion isn't the second coming ~ someone who hasn't heard it

I mentioned last night that Gorillaz - Demon Days, Paramore - Riot and Nightwish - Dark Passion Play are probably my top 3, all killer no filler beginning to end.

However the following, from a quick scan of my iTunes (this isn't an indepth look) would make a good top 20 with those:
Amaranthe - The Nexus
Avril Lavigne - Let Go
Evanescence - Fallen
Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
Green Day - American Idiot
Kyla La Grange - Ashes
Lights - The Listening
M.I.A - Kala
Mika - Life In Cartoon Motion
Muse - Black Holes And Revelations
My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
Nightwish - Imaginaerum
Nightwish - Once
Owl City - Ocean Eyes
Owl City - All Things Bright And Beautiful
Paramore - Brand New Eyes
Rihanna - Rated R

'Beautiful World' exceeded my expectations for the first Take That comeback album Rich *.* Then 'Progress' impressed me even more when they came back again! wub.gif

Glad to see some more Avril love Iz heart.gif I think 'Let Go'/'Under My Skin'/'The Best Damn Thing' is my favourite trio of albums by an artist.

Actually I'd go as far to say that my collection of vinyls are some of my fav albums:

Lana Del Rey Born to Die
Lana Del Rey Ultraviolence
Lana Del Rey Honeymoon
Lorde Pure Heroine
Rae Morris Unguarded
Halsey BADLANDS
Marina and the Diamonds Froot (I NEED to buy TFJ and EH!) ((I bought Froot twice because I couldn't decide between the white disk or the scratch and sniff set))
Taylor Swift 1989

some repeats from the list I just posted (laugh.gif) but these are the albums I deemed worthy enough to buy again for vinyl cool.gif

Progress is one of the few 'boy/manband' albums I really love, it's probably in my top 40. There's so much experimentation with pop going on and I feel excited listening to most of its tracks, something I don't feel with any of their other albums.

Born To Die and Halcyon are very up there for me too. And the first two Marina albums. And the other Avril albums although for me Let Go is the main consistent one.

Such a strong comeback...and then the addition of Rule The World and We All Fall Down on the special edition improves it even moreso. But yes, Progress isn't far behind and is also in my top 40 <3

This album is so good and underrated, nearly everything on it should have been a hit single, yet instead nothing was (in top 40 terms at least!) laugh.gif

It's been a long time since I've sat down and actually tried to rank my favourite albums of all time, but off the top of my head, here's a few that would vie for my favourite -

Suede - Coming Up (my favourite album)
Suede - Dog Man Star
The Cure - Disintegration
Teenage Fanclub - Grand Prix
Eels - Daisies of The Galaxy
The White Stripes - Elephant
Maps - We Can Create
Public Service Broadcasting - Inform - Educate - Entertain
Air - Moon Safari
Elastica - Elastica
The Go! Team - Thunder Lightning Strike
The Beatles - Revolver
Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand

And there's probably quite a few that I've left off.

My favourite is Kate Nash - Made of Bricks, there's not a single dud on there for me and I have such incredible memories of it. Was really hyped for its release having adored Foundations, I remember exactly where I bought it (Woolworths at Sandown on the IOW while on holiday laugh.gif) and so many little details after that. Such a connection with it and I can relate to many songs on there also.

Other faves (alphabetically):

Delta Goodrem - Mistaken Identity
Girls Aloud - Tangled Up
Greyson Chance - Hold On 'Til the Night
Kate Nash - My Best Friend Is You
Justin Bieber - Believe
Lucie Silvas - Breathe In
Nicola Roberts - Cinderella's Eyes
One Direction - FOUR
Rox - Memoirs
S Club 7 - Sunshine
Sugababes - Catfights & Spotlights
Taylor Swift - Speak Now
The Saturdays - On Your Radar
The Vamps - Meet The Vamps
Tom Odell - Long Way Down
Troye Sivan - Blue Neighbourhood
Ulrik Munther - Rooftop
Ulrik Munther - Ulrik Munther

Troye's album could quite easily contend for my all-time favourite as time goes on, it's such a special album and one I haven't even slightly tired of so far wub.gif

Well I'm not doing a rank but I can look in my iTunes library to find what albums have the most tracks appear (I think I'll keep it at 6 tracks min)

Oh and albums that have had a lot of singles released from them would have an advantage here tongue.gif

Lady Gaga's 'The Fame Monster' and particularly 'Born This Way' have stood the test of time for me and will rank in my top 10 / 5 but they're the only ones I can say from the past decade because i'd want more recent ones to properly settle in before I rank those alongside my top 3.

Of the recent ones I can almost definitely see Troye Sivan's 'Blue Neighbourhood' and Carly's 'EMOTION' making it. Unless something happens to make me completely not want to spin or enjoy them in the next couple of years but that won't happen.
