I picked the 'I am terrified of them' option. Foul creatures. puke.gif

No one should ever count on me to pick them up. laugh.gif

Not scared of them and in fact I'm the only one in my immediate family that isn't.

I was in uni for one month back in oh seven and my dad was ringing me, asking me to come home because there was no one to deal with the spiders. I deal with them humanely before anyone asks.

Love them. If I find one in the bathroom then I pick him up in a bit of toilet roll and deposit him outside.

I picked the "I don't mind the smaller ones" option. I'm not particularly fond of those either, but I don't mind them as much as big ones. Big ones make me jump. And not happily like this: jump.gif

I am exactly the same, I've been called on by my mother and sister to catch them in the past and then put them outside, but they often just kill them anyway sad.gif The only ones I'm not as keen on are the large ones that move super fast, and that's just cos they're a bit more difficult to catch!

Such misunderstood creatures cry.gif no UK spiders can hurt you, it's not their fault how they look!11

Don't have an opinion really. They just kind of exist like every other insect does.

"I'd "rather not" have them near me" is what I picked. I wouldn't run off terrified, I just don't really like them being around, same for any bug or insect too actually.

no no no nononononono NO cry.gif

I'm absolutely terrified of them. I don't get many spiders in my house, I wonder if my cats eat them before they find me, if so then i've taught my boys well laugh.gif Its weird though because I'm terrified of spiders, yet daddy long legs don't bother me, even though they're pretty much just spiders with wings, which sounds even more terrifying laugh.gif

My brother keeps tarantulas, he's got loads in his room, he's also got all sorts of lizards and snakes too.

Apparently I read somewhere that picking them up and putting them outside is cruel for them too, because if they've been born in your house and grow up in your house, they don't know how to handle the outside world and the temperatures etc so the shock could kill them. Not sure if thats true or if I've remembered it correctly unsure.gif

This is me as well! laugh.gif There's something about them that just looks far less intimidating. Maybe it's the way that they move in comparison. The way spiders move, especially when they're quick, creeps me out whereas a daddy longlegs appears to move about a bit more clumsily from what I've seen.

Glad I'm not the only one laugh.gif I suppose if they had big thick bodies like some spiders then they would be scary too.

I've never understood the fear of moths too, to me they're just like ugly butterflies laugh.gif
