The Manchester Cat Cafe opened over the weekend, I'm going to visit there this week and I'm so excited!

Anyone who knows me will know how much of a crazy cat lady I am heart.gif I applied for a job to work there but never got an interview, apparently 2500+ people applied for jobs ohmy.gif

Anyway, you book an hour in the cafe, its £12 and you can have as many drinks, snacks etc as you like, so the price isn't too bad. I think I'll be visiting quite often laugh.gif

Has anyone here every been to a cat cafe? What do you think about them?

I think there is also one in Nottingham and Edinburgh, not sure if there is one in London?

OH MY GOSH I already love you for making this topic wub.gif

I am also a fellow crazy cat lady and would love to visit a cat café! It makes me melt just to pick up my cat from the cattery (after we've been on holiday) and seeing the other cats there too. The combination of cats and food/drink has me sold *.* (Also what Bray said. Joe I'm so jel)

One for the bucket list~

They tried to open one in Belfast, but unfortunately the crowdfunding only raised 60% of its £25k target. I did visit a rabbit cafe in Tokyo though.

My sister has been to the London one and wasn't all that impressed.

Although I'm looking forward to visiting the CEREAL cafe with her this weekend.

Yes, I have a bit of an obsession with these. There are two within walking distance of my flat in East London, and I seem to have gotten into the habbit of making it a tradition every time I visit a new city. I've been to ones in Budapest, Madrid, Barcelona, New York, Bangkok and Berlin. It's an addiction, a sickness. Somebody help me.

I also want to visit Owl and Hedgehog cafes.

I love bringing my cats home from the cattery too, and they're also so grateful, one of them runs around the house purring for ages and I get covered in headbutts and kitty kisses wub.gif I could talk for hours about my cats laugh.gif

Really looking forward to visiting the cat cafe this friday, gonna post photos about on social media and i'm excited to see different breeds.

Sorry to bump up an old thread, but could I ask if you all to 'like' this photo if you have Facebook?

The photo with the most likes wins a free visit to the Cat Cafe heart.gif

I was taken to a Cat Café in Tokyo against my will once!

Was really jetlagged and confused, and spent the time wandering the small room taking pictures and avoiding interacting with any cats, like this:

Would like to go again sometime and actually enjoy the experience now I've got my head around the concept. laugh.gif

I'm going to the one in Manchester again on Friday, I wonder if I'll look like too much of a crazy cat lady fan girl if I turn up in my Cat Cafe hoodie though laugh.gif
