I have only recently discovered that I'm fairly scared of flying lol. It got me thinking earlier that being a pilot must be one of the scariest, most stressful joBS around mellow.gif that pressure and HOW DO THEY MAKE IT FLY/LAND WITH NO FAULTS? I also find planes horrible and claustrophobic and couldn't imagine one being my "office". So yeah it'd be really high up as a nightmare job for me ~

What would yours be? (Joke/troll answers are acceptable but think seriously too!)

I can't think specifically but anything that is repetitive and tedious and have awful co workers that make it even worse, basically whatever isn't ideal for me would be ha nightmare job~

Really having to report/interview SHOULD be my nightmare job because I'm socially awkward but my brain works in weird ways and I enjoy it. Probably because it pushes me and feels so rewarding afterwards.

Maybe a surgeon or something? They would be cutting you open and to me that sounds majorly stressful. Pilot would definitely be up there too.

this sounds kind of hypocritical as i currently work in retail part time and overall I do actually enjoy my job, but it would be a nightmare to work in retail full time! my ideal job would be where i'm faced with new challenges all the time, so anything mundane i'd find a nightmare as well!

My dentist has Michael Buble CD's on constantly so that's a good enough reason to run as far away from the dentistry trade as humanly possible. Forever.

BJSC Mod tbh heehee.gif

Srsly, I feel like the worst for me would be a job would be something like a busy fast food restaurant like McDonalds of working at the tills. I've had similar experiences and honestly I would hate constantly having rude people in your face, constant orders and long hours. Like, I get SO nervous under pressure and I'm shy anyway so this would just push me to the limit. The pay wouldn't be high enough to get any enjoyment out of that at all. Waiting tables as well, a lot of fast paced people facing roles just aren't for me at all!

Although, something where you have people's lives in your hands like doctors/nurses or maybe working where you're storing dead bodies sounds utterly grim as well. Honestly, quite a lot of jobs sound scary, this is coming from someone yet to experience full time work ofc. but still.

Leaving aside the obvious stuff like sweatshop worker/the military/literal slavery and accepting the fact that I'm going almost entirely on what I imagine the job is like rather than any actual lived experience, I'd have to say Teaching is my nightmare job. It'd be a mix of having to deal with children (which I didn't even much care for when I was one) and having to constantly being 'on' or 'performing' without any respite or quieter time which would drain me completely if I had to do it for even five minutes, let alone as a regular job. Don't know how you do it Bal ~

I can't think due to the distraction of that scene that is referred to in the OP photo. (Adore the film Airplane! though. wub.gif)

I imagine being Pixie Lott's manager or something must suck.

Probably a pilot or anything involving driving tbh. Anything medical would be horrible and I'd probably faint within five seconds of becoming a surgeon heehee.gif

Probably a hairdresser though. You spend ages cutting and styling people's hair, I'd be worried they wouldn't like it after 😂
To be honest, any job dealing with the public, which is most jobs really

A nightmare job for me would combine being on my feet all day and dealing with the public. And driving would be a stressful job scenario, I thought of a few things I would never drive. Bikes (my balance is rubbish), lorries (especially those double trailer lorries, not sure what they are called officially) and much as I love travelling on buses, I would never drive them.
