The UK's obsession with Bieber is probably the most baffling since Ronson & Jerome.

The UK's obsession with Bieber is probably the most baffling since Ronson & Jerome. His last / current album is OK (I even bought one of the singles on download) but he's seemingly found a unique way to promote his latest release - he's been caught on camera with his pants down and his you know what on display for the girlies if what is currently getting posted today over at Digital Spy is true... I remember when most acts just did tours and promotional appearances (with clothes on) to promote a new release!

He is supposed to be a role model so hardly appropriate. I don't like Bieber anyway. Over hyped and not my thing anyway. |

The UK's obsession with Bieber is probably the most baffling since Ronson & Jerome. I have never been a big fan of Bieber but completely disagree with what you said if your being serious. His music at the moment is very good and he's found a niche. He was up against it with releases until he made the comeback with strong music. It's the music that spoke unlike the artist which usually happens. Full credit to him if people care more about the music rather done whether they have got their manhood out etc. |

Frank Ocean will be number one if his album comes out, no sign of it last time I checked, otherwise it could be Blossoms Frank Ocean Album now rumoured to be released in November, he is definitely testing the patience of his fans if that is true. The number 1 Album is really up for grabs this week then, could be an opportunity for a price drop to influence the top end of the Chart. |

I think Viola Beach might still be a challenge for #1 this week - They are still the biggest selling artist album on Amazon & the #3 artist album on iTunes. There were stock shortages of the physical last week so could push sales into this week now that more copies are available.
Elvis seems to be doing very little on downloads (His last album was on the iTunes Top 10 for ages) but with the low sales climate I'm sure he can go Top 10. |

LOL @ Frank Ocean mentioned in the OP
I do hope that he'll release the album asap but I doubt that it's even finished yet. |
