not BUZZJACK you FOOLS

I've decided to permanently move out of my home town in a month to live in another city together with my boyfriend, at least for a year. And it's quite scary. And then if everything is okay, we are thinking of living together in Spain. Ahhhhhhhhh *panic mode*

So my question is: Have you moved towns/countries and how did you take it?

I moved from Estonia to Ireland at age 11 with my mum because she wanted to be with her partner who had moved a few years prior. Had mixed feelings at first but all's good now. I do sometimes think of leaving this town though and maybe going on an adventure to Dublin or something. Would be nice to find more like-minded people in real life (I know I don't necessarily need to change towns for that though).

Same as Tim, not countries but cities when I moved uni (partly though, it's not like I moved for good, just term time). It's probably much easier doing so for a good reason like with your boyfriend or me for a new start at uni, but naturally so far away (like, the eventuality of maybe going all the way to Spain is nonetheless scary). But like I said the reason why is probably more important, you're going to be making a fresh new start with someone hugely important to you, and if anything being close to him (I remember you saying you were sad there was a huge distance and you couldn't always be together) will be brilliant for you and I'm very happy for you!

I'm actually moving early next month out of my rented flat into a newly built house in the same village. Go me, being a home owner and all.

Pavel that's great news about you and Mr Pavel moving in together - and also great that you're paving a way to move somewhere you'd like to live too. I'm really happy for you. happy.gif

I moved from London to Melbourne Australia which was very difficult, and just as hard moving back to England four years later although I am glad I live here now.

Not planning on doing another move anytime soon thankfully, I just don't like it

Congrats Pav, great news!

I'm always moving around. Only ever in the UK but I've lived in various parts of Sussex, various parts of London and Wrexham in North Wales...in the past five years alone. It doesn't really phase me anymore as I've made friends in all these areas and seem to settle in anywhere relatively quickly.

I moved to Manchester 5 months ago for a new job, the second relocation I've done, and I'm absolutely loving it! I have a great little apartment, I'm really enjoying my new job and Manchester is a great city. First one I did, infamously, was Brisbane for 5 months and that was the best decision I ever made.

I love a new adventure that comes with a relocation. Best of luck Pavel! I really hope it goes well because a ticket to España would be great for you

I have never lived outside of Cornwall, and I don't very often experience life outside of it so I've no idea if I'm having it better or worse down here than somewhere else laugh.gif

I moved to where I live currently to live with my mum and I absolutely love it up here. She moved back to her hometown when I was 16 and I didn't want to go back there so I left school, got a job and have been living independently ever since!
