Was just thinking about this earlier today - what are the worst adverts you've ever seen for this? I was, unfortunately, reminded of this horror from about 10 years ago:

Which got me thinking of any others that sprang to mind & I still don't think anything tops this for me:

It's that dancing at the end that gets me rotf.gif

Any more?

I instantly thought of the Frosties advert upon seeing the title of this thread laugh.gif

As much as I loved Bratz, wtf was this accompanying song:

All the price comparison website ones (apart from the OK meerkat one and the rather dull James Corden one).

The one where a woman dressed as a sailor went into an office and repeatedly said she wanted to look after the customer was cringeworthy.

Those Halifax ones were brilliant by the way when Howard Brown was singing. He even had a top 20 hit in 2005.

I don't think much else needs to be said for that...

I could list so many here though, this is why I don't watch TV live a lot or I just mute them.

They're only good when watching Charlie Brooker slate them wub.gif

Anything with terrible singing in is a shoe-in for this category, this one annoyed the hell outta me a couple of years back but now (as it's not shown anymore thank the heavens) I just laugh:

any Haribo or Go Compare advert.

the Travelodge adverts where they sing like it's a musical.

the Vodaphone xmas ad where people were singing Let It Go really badly.

any Christmas ad that gets aired before November.

England has had the above concept for almost 100 years and it's called the Young Farmers Club.

I think it was set up to reduce occurrences of incest.

idk if you get these or have something similar in the uk but i always see these foundation for a better life PSAs at like 4 am usually while hungover and the mawkishness just becomes too much when you already feel like you're dying

like just going by the production values/fashion you can TELL they made these 10 years ago, they look like every health class anti-drug propaganda video i had to sit through in middle school

like i'm sorry but not even the b-rate kelly clarkson cover can save this for me

Youtube is a goldmine of obscure local TV ads from the United States, mostly made with about the lowest budget possible. This one's something of a classic from the early 90s:

Later ones aren't as good as they're being deliberately amateurish and "bad" for the lolz (which is never as funny) but the original is gold.

The one I used to hate involved someone shouting "YOU BUY ONE YOU GET ONE FREE" and it was about windows, but I hate it too much to look it up.
