one day since the last and it's already time for a new lounge game

NO idea if people will be interested in this, but let's try it! laugh.gif

This was inspired by me trying to think of ways for Lindsey to use some strawberries, which ended up with us both deciding to bake today. CONCEPT OF THIS GAME IS, we're gonna have a lil strawberry theme. Create something with strawberries, bake something, do whatever you like which is strawberry themed, take a photo and upload it onto here. A week today we can have some votes to see who made the best creation? laugh.gif

Nobody has to be a professional (trust me, ya'll gonna see my baking later and i won't be hitting that tent anytime soon), this might just be a bit of fun! ((and you get food inrl so its a win-win))

Oooo.

I do like a bit of baking every now and again (and I was thinking of making biscuits after seeing last week's bake off) but I don't have much experience with baking with strawberries- don't have any rn anyway. Might get some, idk yet. Interested to see what you make Lotti!

Does putting a strawberry Pop Tart in the toaster to warm it up count as baking cos that's the limit of what I can do :eyes:

(as if I even eat the strawberry Pop Tarts, I only like the chocolate ones lamfoo)

mine has gone okay so far ohmy.gif I'm nervous about getting my cake out the tin tho as i couldnt find one with a removable bottom and i didn't have any grease proof paper so I just used butter???? I had strawberries left over so made a strawberry/marshmallow/raspberry mouse thing as well, I need to finish that off once the mix cools and the cake is currently setting in the freezer, I'll report back soon angel.gif

OKAY

on the left we have a raspberry, strawberry and marshmallow mousse, topped with white choc chips and a strawberry ooooooh

on the right we have the main event, a white chocolate and strawberry mousse/cheese cake, topped with white chocolate, strawberries and apparently BRITISH sprinkles.

When to comes to strawberries, the concept "too filling" does not exist.
