QUOTE
Every woman who has used the "well, we have to go through childbirth" line to win an argument with a man may soon be set to eat her words.

Because according to leading doctors, male pregnancy could become a reality in just five years' time.

That's right, men and transgender women could theoretically receive a uterus, carry a baby to term, and give birth in the next decade thanks to recent medical advancements in reproductive transplant surgery.

"My guess is five, 10 years away, maybe sooner," Dr Karine Chung, director of the fertility preservation program at the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine, told Yahoo Health.

Incredible what science can do! It's still along way away and the article does go on to describe things that are preventing it with a hopeful look that they can be resolved but the fact it could be so close is exciting news.

The question for guys here is (and girls too I guess lol) would you WANT to become pregnant and have kids that way? ohmy.gif

See, my dream a few months back about being pregnant isn't that weird after all!

I have no idea how this is meant to work but I suppose it could be helpful for transgender women and gay couples to feel like a baby is even more so theirs if they're carrying them inside of them.

This is a very intriguing prospect. One of those things that is very hard to imagine actually being a thing.

childbirth freaks me the hell out and pregnancy as a whole and is something I don't particularly want to go through even though I do want kids at some point in the future :')

I think if male pregnancy was a legit thing, it would also strike up a whole lot of controversy and places would make it illegal for men to carry babies because it's "unnatural" or whatever though sleep.gif
