It's time to have your say. Which of these two are worse - Britain leaving the EU or the BBC losing Bake Off? Sad times.

P.S. for those who don't know, it was announced today that Bake Off will be moving from the BBC to Channel 4 because of filthy capitalist whores!!!! cry.gif

Can we just restart 2016 and pretend it didn't happen?

My thoughts exactly. Although it's never good to see the BBC losing stuff, I think the long-term consequences of the other thing will be a little bit more important. And bad.

laugh.gif Tbh I've never actually watched Bake Off before so maybe I'm judging too quickly. Baking just isn't my thing so it doesn't strike me as something I'm racing to watch.

Perhaps I'll give it a go sometime though to see what all the fuss is about~

It's worth watching purely for Mary Berry. Especially when she gets alcohol!

I didn't even know BBC were losing Bake Off... sad.gif

It's one of their most popular programs. At this rate what are they even going to show?

If Channel 4 were in charge of Brexit as well, it might be a difficult question.

If ITV had gotten their grubby little hands on it then I'd be torn but I trust/have enough faith in Channel 4 to not actually be too bad so Brexit it is.

I on the other hand have seen an episode. I sadly wasn't hooked (as it's an institution and everything). I mean, it wasn't bad for having on but I saw no reason to continue watching it. Also I'm no good at baking at all, more of a cooking guy myself, so it doesn't have any interest from that side.
