It looks like this craze is sweeping the UK after starting out in the U.S, have any of you seen people dressed up as clowns lately?

Some of the videos are funny but some others just look silly to me.

This is ALL the kids at school are talking about today. It's driven me CRAZY. Half are terrified and half are claiming they got chased down the street by one :/ drama.gif (one happened fairly local to our school)

So did someone/people actually get killed by someone dressed up as a clown to begin with? I mean, regardless, there's tasteless humour and then there's this which couldn't have crossed the line anymore, not to mention being, you know, illegal.

I don't know what I'd do if I saw one. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't react well but I have no idea whether that bad reaction would be run away or hit it over the head with a brick.

I can remember last Halloween, me and my mate were walking back from the club at ~3am and these two people in pig masks stared at us from across the road. We were quite freaked out but kept walking, when they suddenly charged at us and started circling us in the middle of the street. Safe to say we were both SCREAMING and saying take our money or whatever they wanted, but they just walked off and it was a prank we assume. Funny on paper but MORTIFYING in real life :/

God that sounds awful. I would be SCARRED for life if that happened to me. I'd never be able to go near anyone with even vaguely suidae-esque features again.

This one is available on Kindle Unlimited so they wouldn't even have to buy it.

I think I'd look great as a clown.

Seriously, men who are clowns for a living say they're worried the cops will arrest them because of this.

It originates from Pennywise from IT by Stephen King. A fictional monster that takes on the form of a clown to terrorise children.

I agree it's completely stupid. Mindless idiots are the people that do this sort of stuff to terrorise women and children.

Northampton did it 3 years ago before it was cool x

Seriously though clowns are bladdy terrifying so if none could come near me, that would be most appreciated.

I'm afraid of clowns since I accidently saw a part of IT when I was 6. These clown pranks should be forbidden.

I actually think its pretty funny/cool, but i love all things spooky and halloween is my favourite time of year. However I think if I saw one and I was alone I would be scared, because you don't know who is behind the mask, and if it is some super crazy who wants to kill people... well i can't run very fast or very far laugh.gif I don't go out much, especially after dark, its scary enough where I live without the clowns rolleyes.gif Has anyone actually been killed by these 'killer' clowns though?

Anyone remember the Northampton clown from a couple of years ago?
