Does a Scottish Master (that takes 5 years...) actually count as a Master?

The perennial question for any graduate from Scottish Ancient unis when applying for shit outside the UK, and to a lesser extent in England.

Personally I just put '2012-2017 MA' and hope employers want it to mean whatever they want it to mean. But genuinely looking for responses. xo

You sent me on a Wiki debate to confirm this question. I see the confusion. But five years sounds like it should.

However I'll take my three-year BA and one-year MA any day.

I'm currently doing a BSc Psychology and Sociology!

Probably a masters at some point.
