Oh yes I was wondering about this! I did see a rather beautiful full Moon last night (that probably wasn't the Supermoon yet tho lol) - I might go out and see if I can catch it tonight, apparently the best time to see it here was about an hour ago but maybe I can still see it!

I can see it and it is just normal sized!

I swear that one night, it must have been about 15 years ago as I was living with a friend at the time, I looked out and saw a moon that was at least 10 times bigger than the one on display tonight.

I think I might know the one you're talking about, I remember walking with my sister in the field next to my childhood house and there it was omg. Would've been around 15 years ago! Think it was red as well wub.gif

I can distinctly recall being momentarily scared that the world was coming to an end, it was that big.

Nobody else can ever remember it though and it wasn't reported at the time so people always think I was on drugs or something!

Anyone else remember Hale-Bopp back in 1997? One of the most astonishing things I've ever seen in the sky, looked amazing in a cloud/pollution-free sky that Easter.

I just stepped outside briefly but the clouds are thick and this was the best shot I could get.
