The site doesn't go down as much as it used to, but each time it does the back-up site is proving to be less and less useful. Most of the current active members can't even post on it because our accounts need approved by an administrator, and most of the administrators are no longer active which means some people have been waiting on it for years from what I hear. Is this something we can resolve so that all members are able to post on the back-up site the next time the main one is down?

the site hardly ever goes down and when it does we are only down for a very short amount of time. The recent downtime is an exception due to a series of events which happened prior to the downtime. These have been rectified so we will now receive downtime alerts from our host. I think we should aim for as close to 100% uptime rather than divert attention to a backup site which would also require maintenance and upkeep.
