Where do you see yourself this time next year? Where do you WANT to be this time next year? We all have ambitions and goals for the future, and I thought it'd be nice if this was heel for us to reflect on this time next year. I know a lot of people will probably feel as though not much will have changed, but maybe making some predictions (ambitious even) could motivate us to make 2017 a great year ─ better than this year. (I tend to work like that, even though it's illogical I always aim to do my old self proud and make an improvement on my life the year before).

I hope to be happier as a person ─ still have a strong and supportive group of friends primarily, that tends to be the key to my happiness, and far more mentally stable (that's the main one).

What about you?

I'm hoping this time next year I will have done really well on my GCSE's and finally done my dream holiday of a tour around America and am enjoying sixth form whether I decide to go!

This time next year I will be 20 eek. Also I'll be in my final year of Uni which is even more eek. I see myself being very stressed and drowning in Uni work. I want to be far more motivated with Uni work next year than I am right now, a solid idea and good planning for my dissertation would be good as well. I want to have more of a plan of exactly what route I want to go down in the future too. I will have had 2 further weeks of work experience by this time next year and hopefully that will give me more of an idea.

So yeah - maybe just be more organised and have a bit more of a plan. tongue.gif Working on my confidence more too. Plus to stay happy and continue to surround myself with those that make me happy.

omg, I have no idea, I'm literally at the point where I'm deciding what to do with my life etc., hopefully the post I made in the other thread, and I can push the negative thoughts I've had throughout the year away and maybe by knowing where my life is going I will be a better person and actually that might help me in doing what I thought I couldn't do.

This time next year... I have my sights firmly set on moving to London and starting a new life there. I have recently got a job which pays quite decently and is going to get me really valuable experience which will help me.

In my last year of college

Although given that we're in a Trump administration I'd imagine myself fighting in some post-apocalyptic dystopia a la the Terminator series/The Hunger Games/Divergent. Since that's where we're mostly headed.

I really don't know where I would see myself this time next year. The ideal scenario would be having secured a training contract at a decent law firm and studying for the LPC, but that's probably the most unlikely right now laugh.gif I'd like to think I could be in a decent job and most likely live back home to save money, regardless of whether i'm doing further study or working.

Away from careers, I would like to have done a bit more travelling. I'm planning Asia for maybe next Summer so hopefully I can go through with that. And in general, hopefully be happy and loving life.

2016 has been such a MESS of a year for me, only Lotti really knows the extent of just how much so but I'm hoping next year will offer more clarity, less stress, more opportunites etc

I should be in my 4th year of uni, hopefully I am actually enjoying it and feel like I'm on top of everything in that regard as it's the total opposite right now. I just wanna be in the sort of mental state where I'm organised, I'm not constantly falling behind or all over the place, that's not just for uni but in everything. I want to have met up with some more of you guys tbh and seen a lot more of Lotti, I want work to be less stressful, hopefully not doing so much overtime and actually getting on better with one of my uber bitch coworkers. I'll hopefully have a few more concerts under my belt too. I'm not being over ambitious here laugh.gif

I will finally not be studying anymore and be in a secure job that I at least partially enjoy and relevant to teaching/education and be confident in my approaches to this, that's the main hope, and just surviving in a world fully immersed in President Trump & Brexit ;o
