I don't have anything I need or want but as usual it depends what I see and how much it's been reduced.

Black Friday only seems to have been a huge deal for the past few years over here, I've yet to take advantage of it.

Might do this year for the first time for Christmas shopping! Nothing in mind yet but will see what's on offer~

I'm planning on getting all of my christmas shopping done this weekend, so I'm going to Manchester on Friday but I really don't like crowds so if its too busy I'll go home and order everything online laugh.gif

Unsure of anything that I'd like to buy yet, I've a few things in mind, the new Billy Connolly DVD, Motley Crue CD/DVD and a few things from the Disney store. Those things are all Christmas presents though, I'd like to treat myself to a fitbit (or other type of fitness watch!)

I also would mind a record player but I might wait until my birthday next year to get one of those.

That's interesting because I thought it was just an American thing until a few years ago ohmy.gif

It's a tradition dating back the Rebecca Black single “Friday” whereupon when people heard the song they would instantly join a mob to fight over objects they neither wanted nor needed, nor could afford.

I'm normally one to not take an interest in this stuff and instead sit back and watch other people pointlessly spend money... but I can't claim that this year as I've been excited for Steam sales for at least a week now and they've just started and I'm probably going to impulse buy games that will sit on my hard drive until I decide to install them (still got some small ones from last year that I've put off doing that with). That's probably one of the only areas where I understand the shopping bug, I mean, for a digital property, Steam is pretty permanent and good value entertainment.

sidenote: away with trying to shill us VPNs.

For me it's one of the exclusive vinyl that are being put out.
Either The Cars - Just What I Needed (faithfully replicated picture disc) or The Rolling Stones - Ride 'Em On Down (10" single)
Or if any CDs or vinyl are reduced in my local record store I might buy one of them.

Yes, it's something to do with when company accounts go into the black (from the red) into profit from fooling us into buying lots of stuff we don't need.

I bought Sennheiser headphones for almost about 80 quid after hearing so many good reviews, the cable stripped in two places within mere months :/ I've had £2 headphones last longer laugh.gif
