December 1st is round the corner - will you be counting down the days until Christmas with an advent calendar this year?

I bought a thorntons one today and the woman asked me if I wanted a name on it and I felt absolutely no shame in saying it was for me.

Now that I've got my own home I've also invested in an advent candle.

If my mum usually gets us all one I'm nearly always the only one eating one a day, not 24 in the first week :')

But it's an excuse to have chocolate tongue.gif

I was cajoled into buying a charity one off-site at work. It's for Shelter, and it's got a penguin on it, so I don't feel too hard done by. I don't eat chocolate at this time of the year though, so I've given it to my brother to enjoy.

I have one - but it is a tea one from Bluebird Tea. I'm really excited by it, a different combination every day and an accompanying email to explain what it is. happy.gif

Haha! biggrin.gif

I couldn't resist it, I went to the shop in Brighton last month and they had them on display - it just seemed like such a fab twist on an advent calendar and I do love my tea so I though why not? I see they have sold out now or I'd link you Lotti.

Even if I become less bothered about Christmas as the years go by, I will never stop with the advent calendars x

Only got mine in the last week which is the latest I've ever purchased one. Could've got one for £1.50 in Sainsburys but I fancied going in M&S and spending £5 :') It's TROLLS and is meant to light up.

They don't offer value for money or satisfy my binge-eating habits.
