I've been genuinely baffled by this for some time! It sounded like it would be huge (as well as being a f***ing incredible song) and everyone else seemed to agree but it didn't do much worldwide.

I think it was a mix of different things, "Needed Me" included. It was mainly more on her label trying to push way too many singles at once, and I think that's also a reason why "Work" and "Needed Me" didn't peak as high as it could have. It was near peaking when KIB and Needed Me were announced dually, but the latter was gaining so much traction that it eclipsed the former. Then "This Is What You Came For" debuted and it was just a mess.

It actually looks like "Love On The Brain" has potential to outpeak the other three ANTi singles lmao
