I just have this afternoon - for passing wind in Poundland. ohmy.gif I did it a few times but couldn't help it. Better out than in they do say! Anyway they said I could come back another day providing I wasn't doing that. They weren't noisy, just silent but very smelly and apparently they'd narrowed them down to me. Some customers had asked if there was a gas leak. rolleyes.gif

I feel my civil liberties have been overturned. It's a normal bodily function after all that even The Queen does. Should I complain to their Head Office? I'm sure they wouldn't sling me out of Tesco or Asda.

I don't know. At one point there was no-one very near to me. I am not happy as I hadn't done my shopping. Only went in for some beans ironically too. sad.gif

Next time keep it in and wait until you're OUTSIDE before doing it. Or you know, don't fart when others are near by. huh.gif

Of bloody COURSE NOT in response to the topic title. Manners, decorum and respect for others are free and require very little effort either. Farting in private is one thing, but obviously if it's a public place you do your UTMOST to try and prevent doing so.

Surely you could have left the shop for a few minutes to f*rt outside, Common Sense, and then reentered and done your shopping.

People farting in shops is disgusting. I know sometimes you can't help it, but if you were repeatedly farting then you should have left the shop and went to the toilet.

I was banned from three local shops in the past few years (i'm an idiot thread teas)

I was banned from Lidl for putting a "30% cheaper" sticker on a bar of chocolate and didn't return for about a year, although the (manager?) I never saw again so I made myself welcome there again.

Oh and almost as funny, I got banned from McDonalds for spending my free periods surfing on their wifi too often ph34r.gif again I returned around a year later but no one said anything

What a self-deprecating post mellow.gif lol~

My observations from this thread. Can we please give Snake and Common Sense their own private area of the forum where they can mill about discussing things like this?

err, lol

nah I've never been asked to leave a shop but when I was a kid, as I was leaving a shop, the woman came up to me and asked me if I took something lmao. I had to show her the contents of my pockets, which had nothing of importance in there. I had just been looking around the shop casually. Guess I just naturally had some sort of suspicious vibe going on unsure.gif

You see that's a common misconception. That when you are doing it you need the loo. My wife says "can you go to the toilet" but I reply that I don't need to then.
