Nichola Hart complained to Tesco, furious at being let down by the supermarket. The 30-year-old mum of two had bought a bag of alphabet potato shapes in order to teach her small son Logan to spell his name so she was livid when she discovered that there were no Ls or Os in the bag, so she was forced to write 'ICGAN'. He noticed straight away so she'd to explain why. She said "What's the point in them selling Alphabet shapes when they don't contain all 26 letters of the alphabet."

LOL. Some people definitely have a little too much time on their hands. rolleyes.gif Maybe it's so you buy more than one bag.

Has she heard of alphabetti spaghetti I wonder?

Wait, something's just struck me. If he didn't know how to spell his name then how did he know she'd mis-spelt it?

I suppose if the product has the word 'alphabet' on the product it should contain all 26 letters, the meaning of the word alphabet is understood by most to be the entire set. If it doesn't contain 26 letters then it probably shouldn't have the word 'alphabet' on it.

I assume it was some sort of error on packing, they forgot to put in two of the letters.

They could argue that it meant it contained letters of the alphabet but not necessarily all 26 letters. Shall I buy a pack and check too? biggrin.gif

If the potato shapes are cooked they are bendy, she could have arched the C round to make an O, after cutting off the breadcrumb covering slightly on the two edges.

For L she could have used the E shape, cutting off the two top right facing lines.

She should probably get a life because there's more important stuff to worry about right now than whether there's a L or not in alphabet potato shapes rolleyes.gif

No, I think there's a lot more discussion we could get out of...

I can't finish that sentence seriously.
