Yeah I can't lie and say my favourite part isn't getting presents kink.gif HOWEVER I enjoy most aspects of Christmas really, it's great to spend time with family, give gifts and enjoy the music and TV.

Spending time with the family, though I don't get into Christmas mode until after Carols from King's.

Definitely the food. The presents happen on one day (and I don't really get any these days, I've got enough money to buy what I want), festive food goes on for up to a couple of months <3

The shopping *.* Can never resist spending like crazy kink.gif

(Tbh I probs prefer Giving/Receiving Gifts to shopping but those are exactly equal and can't choose between the two! Music and spending time with family also really close!)

The meal is the one i went for! the gift opening is obviously great as is having the family around (and i guess you are technically spending time with them during the meal so that justifies my pick x)

Spending time with the family obviously, you ungrateful swines x (food and TV are second, basically I love the day, it's just the build up that I get sick of).

The meal is one of my least favourite parts of Christmas tbh! I've never really enjoyed Christmas dinners or the sides and other courses that come with it, so filling and just leaves you too full to be arsed for the rest of the day.

Seeing family is another one I'm a bit :/ about, I'd much rather not bother to be honest, conversation always seems a bit forced and I always seem to recall having completely parallel conversations the year before, and the year before that etc. I get fed up of seeing family by Christmas day ─ the extendeds should stay extended, they're distant for a reason tongue.gif I sound like such a scrooge but when the majority of your family hates each other and moans FOREVER you tend to want to distance yourself from them tongue.gif

I voted music, there's nothing like a few Christmas tunes to get me in the mood wub.gif

Voted for 'spending time with la familia'! Brownie points for that option being in Spanglish tbh wub.gif

Both giving/receiving presents would then come next. The atmosphere of my front room is lovely when that happens! Watching everyone getting all excited and being a part of that is so joyful.

As a fussy eater, I actually don't look forward to Christmas dinner very much oops.

Top Of The Pops is the only Christmas TV I look out for these days *.* Plus we have Eastenders on usually, and... Mrs Brown's Boys. :eyes:

I clicked 'the music', but I guess it's hard to actually pinpoint any one thing I enjoy more than the other about it. The whole is definitely much greater than the sum of its parts, though the build up (in my case about a month) is FAR more enjoyable than the day itself which is always too rushed and too busy to truly enjoy.

I always find the day itself is a bit sad because it's all over for the year again lol sounds stupid but Xmas seems to be 1st November to Christmas Eve then people move on as soon as Xmas day is over which I find bizarre!
